I am an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at Wilfrid Laurier University, and also at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. My research focuses on institutional development at the international, national or local scales. Recent areas of focus have been the role of ethnic diversity in the provision of public goods, and the interaction between legal institutions and social structures.
