In September 2021, I am excited to return to teaching in the Master’s in International Public Policy program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. From 2008 through 2015, I regularly taught IP631 and IP634, two courses in the Human Security stream in the program.
This year, I am teaching the core economics course in the first term of the one-year program, IP601. The course has four parts, with each being roughly 3 weeks long.
- Economics as a framework for analysis.
- Microeconomic policy.
- Macroeconomic policy.
- Applications to international policy.
The exact structures of the course will depend on the development of health and safety protocols over the next few months – once those details are worked out, I will post a course outline here (and on the Laurier MyLearningSpace page).
